The scheme is available to all small businesses:

• with a VAT exclusive annual taxable turnover of up to   £100,000, and
• with a VAT exclusive annual turnover, including the value   of exempt supplies and other non taxable income, of up to £125,000.

If you qualify under the criteria above you are eligible for potential savings on your VAT bill. You do not need to change the way you currently operate your finances, it will infact make it much simpler, and your VAT payment may reduce.
